I feel like my mom and dad knew I needed a distraction from everything.
Today, I received one of the biggest orders for my shop since its inception last year. Hundreds of new curated products, hundreds of new beads, charms and jewelry-making supplies, and hundreds of other art supplies.
I’m going to be busy for a while sorting through all of this, but I think later this weekend I’m going to clear out a workable space in my studio and make some art.
I need to create again.
And I want to make them proud.

And there might be some traveling in my future, too.
I’m planning to go to Italy to see my family and take care of a few things there. And after that, maybe Spain to check out what I hope will eventually become my future home.
There’s something strange about thinking about the future right now. Part of me feels completely stuck in everything that has happened, and another part of me knows I have to keep moving.
Maybe creating, building, traveling and dreaming about what comes next are how I start doing that.
One little piece at a time.
